Under the slogan (Towards Building a Cohesive and Stable Libyan Family) and in collaboration between the Marriage Facilitation Fund of the Ministry of Youth and Sabratha University, the viewing hall at the Faculty of Arts and Education in Sabratha hosted a discussion session titled (The Culture of Marriage and the Proper Construction of the Family) on the morning of Wednesday, March 1, 2023. 

This session, overseen by the Family Guidance and Counseling Department at the Marriage Facilitation Fund, is part of similar sessions held at several Libyan universities in agreement between the Ministry of Youth and the Ministry of Higher Education. 
The session aims to educate and raise awareness among university students about the culture of marriage and the proper construction of the family in accordance with the provisions and rulings of our Islamic Sharia. 
The discussion session included several topics presented by a number of professors and specialists, the most important of which were:
- The legal and Sharia aspect presented by Dr. Ibrahim Al-Ma'loul
- The social aspect presented by Dr. Salah Al-Maslaty
- The psychological and health aspect presented by Dr. Abu Aheila Al-Shibani
The session was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, the Director of the Family Guidance and Counseling Department at the Marriage Facilitation Fund, the Director of the Family Guidance and Counseling Office for the Western Coastal Branch, and several representatives from the Marriage Facilitation Offices in the municipalities, in addition to a number of specialized professors, interested parties, and concerned students.
